Job Description:
KRA 2: Monitoring, Compliance & Payroll Support: Monitor employees' adherence to work schedules and report any deviations or attendance issues to the appropriate supervisors or managers. Ensure compliance with labour laws, union agreements, and company policies regarding time and attendance.
KRA 3: Record Maintenance : Maintain and organize employee time and attendance records, gate pass, training and medical records and ensure they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for auditing purposes or employee inquiries (as per Mines rules 1955).
KRA 4: IME/PME records & MIS preparation- monitoring & completion of mines employees IME/PME consultation with Mines manager & Daily MIS preparation & maintain up-to-date.
KRA 5: Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees and supervisors on how to use the timekeeping system, input time data correctly, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
KRA 6: PPEs & Canteen coupon Distribution, Coordination for Inspection:- Distribution of PPEs & canteen coupon to mines employees & maintaining the record for the same.
Should coordinate documents and records maintenance lodging and other facilities during inspection of government officials and MEMC & MSW functions.
Professional Qualifications: Diploma/ Degree
Essential: Mines Rules 1955 & Labour laws

JOB PROFILE -
The Mines Time Keeper is responsible for maintaining accurate records of employees' working hours and attendance in a mining operation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that employees are paid correctly and that accurate data is available for labour and productivity analysis. The Time Keeper works closely with the human resources and payroll departments to ensure the smooth processing of employee time records & This is the statutory position as per the DGMS.
KRA 1:
Time and Attendance Management: Collect and record accurate time and attendance data for all mine employees, including regular shifts, overtime, leave, and any other relevant absences or variations in schedules
KRA 2: Monitoring, Compliance & Payroll Support: Monitor employees' adherence to work schedules and report any deviations or attendance issues to the appropriate supervisors or managers. Ensure compliance with labour laws, union agreements, and company policies regarding time and attendance.
Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee pay based on the recorded time and attendance data. Provide necessary documentation and information for payroll calculations.
