GUIDELINES FOR HIRING CENTER ASSOCIATES (CAs)-GROW Youth
The role of the Center Associate (CA) is very important for the centre. "Passionate, Planner, &
Disciplined" are the must present qualities for being an effective CA. Please refer to the CA Training
Manual for more details.

Centre Associate role is the most important link of the GROW program with the community. The key task of this role is to lead field outreach
Job Summary / activity of GROW Centre by ensuring regular footfall and enrolments.
Objective

AH should play a key role in converting right footfalls into

enrolments, hence enrolment is a team work.

This role involves the following key activities:

  • Daily Outreach Planning

Key Activities Spending half a day in the Community to do field outreach

  • Spending half a day on tele-calling /follow-up from Centre
  • Home visit of placed and in-class aspirants for referrals

A CA should ensure the following monthly deliverables:

  • Implementing outreach activities as per the plan
  • Networking with local community representatives

Major

  • Tele-calling to convert leads into footfall

Deliverables

  • Follow-up for timely enrolments
  • Home visits of placed and in-class aspirants for referrals
  • Total 50-60 footfalls and 20 Enrolments in a month
  • Good Communication (Local language)
  • Basic Planning Skills
  • Disciplined

Skills required

  • Passionate about community work and how his/her work will create impact
  • Has done some community related work/or field sales in past

  • 10th and above (Team can hire 12th pass, Graduate, MSW if they are

Qualification motivated to do this task and able to deliver)

  • S/he should be local & have done some field work, focus on matured

Our insight from the past data suggests the following prototype of a successful CA:

  • More than 25 years of age – Female Preferred
  • Should be a resident of the place.
  • Should have had previous experience (community related work/Sales)

Mode of Selection / Engagement

  • Initial service contract for 3 months. Further based on the review of performance service contract can be extended for 3 /6 /11 Months.
  • If any CA wants to engage part time (half day) that is also possible if they are ready to deliver the expected result.
  • Incentive will remain the same for part timers but pay & sustainability awards will be adjusted accordingly.

Note:

  • Local travel on actuals to be reimbursed by AH. Public transport to be used.
  • Sim card with enough data plan will be given to do the tele-calling.

OTHER TERMS

1. Leaves: 1 Leave Per Month that will lapse at the end of the calendar year and cannot be encashed

2. 1 Lakh Medi-claim and 2 Lakh Personal Accident Policy for Self

3. Notice to terminate the contract : 15 days prior notice

4. All other that is applicable as part of the terms of service.
